Our clinic was founded on the belief that cats are unique, and their personalities and medical concerns are different from those of other animals. The Cat Clinic at Cherry Hill was founded in 1997 by Dr. John J. McCauley, a board-certified Feline Specialist through the American Board of Veterinary Practitioners. In 2025, The Cat Clinic at Cherry Hill transitioned into the capable hands of Dr. Amanda Kennedy who shares that same deep commitment to the specialized needs of cats. She brings with her several years of experience after working in two busy feline-only practices. Dr. Kennedy is also a board-certified Feline Specialist through the American Board of Veterinary Practitioners, Together, they are the only two ABVP board-certified feline specialists in New Jersey.
Not only do we provide excellence in medical and surgical care, but we also recognize that visits to the veterinarian can be stressful for both cat and owner. Consequently, we work diligently to provide a quiet, relaxing environment and excellent customer service to create an experience that is as pleasant as possible.
