Dr. McCauley has been practicing small animal medicine and surgery for more than 22 years, and has been a feline specialist for more than 20 of those years. Dr. McCauley holds both an
undergraduate degree and a veterinary degree from the University of Pennsylvania. He earned his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from the University of Pennsylvania in 1992.
After further study and extensive experience, Dr. McCauley went on to earn Diplomate status from the American Board Of Veterinary Practitioners in the Feline Clinical Practice category. This is an honor and distinction among veterinary practitioners.
At the beginning of his career, Dr. McCauley spent two years at a busy small animal hospital, working with cats and dogs, before pursuing his dream of becoming a feline specialist. In 1994, he took a position with one of the top feline specialty hospitals in Philadelphia. Then, in 1997, Dr. McCauley brought his knowledge, enthusiasm, and energy to Cherry Hill, proudly opening the first feline specialty practice in Camden County. His hospital, Cat Clinic at Cherry Hill, was devoted exclusively to providing the highest quality medical and surgical care for our feline friends.
Dr. McCauley devoted much of his childhood to raising horses, pigs, dogs, and other pets in the Lehigh valley. He currently resides in Cherry Hill with his wife and three children, along with their two cats, Cranberry and Forrest.
